Recycle Your Holiday Greeting Cards at Church!

A great way to recycle holiday greeting cards once the season is over is to bring them to church.  Youngsters in our children's program will use these in art projects as next year's holiday season approaches in lessons about their Jewish and Christian heritage.  If your holiday greeting cards are from another tradition which celebrates a festival of light .. please bring these treasures also!   Recycled cards can be placed in the box in the Volunteer Office marked "Recycled Holiday Greeting Cards".  With thanks,  Angela Klassen.

Remember those lap desks (circa 1983?) that everyone used to have and few people used?  They have a hard flat surface on which to write and a bean bag bottom that rests on your lap.  Do you have one that has not yet found a good home?  The Junior High OWL Class is would be happy to put about 10 of them to good use.  You can donate yours by bringing it to "The Loft" (the upstairs classroom)  next time you come to church or call Monica Bennett at 905-628-4851 to arrange for pick up.
