Parking
Ample parking is available for most people in our own
parking lot, although many choose to park at Fortino’s
at Dundurn and Main to leave more room for Newcomers.
Parking spots for differently-abled are reserved near
both doors. The door in the “middle” of the building,
furthest from Dundurn, is the main entrance. The Dundurn
door leads you directly into our Community and
Children’s Area.
Greeters and Ushers
Friendly volunteers will greet you at the doors to the
church and the sanctuary. Feel free to ask them any
question that occurs to you about our church, faith,
practices, beliefs, programs and activities. If they do
not know the answer, they will find someone who does.
Babies and Children
Baby care by caring adults and young adult assistants
takes place in our nursery with a program of play, story
and song. Parents are also welcome to sit in our foyer
with a restless child where the service may be heard
through speakers located there.
Children – are always welcome in our church and in our
children’s programs. Please see
Religious Education to discover more about our
approach to spiritual enrichment for children.
Some
days we worship together as a community (for part of or
for the whole service); other days the
Worship Service is
more adult-focused and the children begin their day with
their own worship in
Children’s Chapel. Children’s time goes to 11:45
so that parents may have a few minutes with other adults
in coffee hour. Afterwards there are often activities,
meetings and social gatherings. Coffee Hour occurs just
after church and gives us a time to meet and greet each
other, ask questions and enter into discussion.
